Society for Pediatric Urgent Care 9th Annual Conference 2023 SPUC’s 9th Annual Conference will be held virtually on September 27-29, 2023. For 2023, we will be hosting the meeting over a Wednesday-Friday schedule. The conference will open with a focus on ingestions and injuries. Day two will address many of our challenges around infectious diseases and antibiotic management.

SPUC’s 9th Annual Conference will be held virtually on September 27-29, 2023. For 2023, we will be hosting the meeting over a Wednesday-Friday schedule. The conference will open with a focus on ingestions and injuries. Day two will address many of our challenges around infectious diseases and antibiotic management. Finally, we will close with a presentation by Dr. Nicole Baldwin on social media’s role in pediatric medicine and common dermatologic complaints seen in the urgent care setting.
- The meeting will also offer many additional topics including non-accidental trauma, digital health expert panel, BRUE, abstract presentations by our urgent care colleagues, and several others. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to have live question and answer sessions with each speaker.
The 9th Annual Conference of the Society for Pediatric Urgent Care (SPUC) is scheduled to take place from September 27 to September 29, 2023. The conference will be held virtually.
The target audience for this conference includes Physicians, Fellows/Residents, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurse Administrators. The learning objectives of the conference are as follows:
- Design or improve their digital approach to evidence-based pediatric acute care, both through the delivery of telehealth and the effective use of social media platforms.
- Describe how evidence-based guideline use can improve antibiotic stewardship and improve patient care in a pediatric acute care setting.
- Clearly understand the current medical management of common conditions seen in a pediatric acute care setting.
