Information:
5th Abu Dhabi International Vascular Conference On behalf of the scientific and the organizing committees, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the “5th Abu Dhabi International Vascular Conference” scheduled to be held on Oct. 13-14 2023, at Sofitel Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Building on the successes of our previous vascular conferences, our aim remains to raise awareness of vascular disease, a progressive chronic illness whose onset is often diicult to detect. Whilst risk factors can usually point to its possible presence, it is frequently only detected when it manifests with a complication.
There are several measures to prevent or delay its onset as well as a variety of options to slow its progression.
During the event, we will discuss the latest advancements and best practices of vascular medicine, through worldwide initiatives in education, training, research and practice. The event serves as a platform for educational opportunities and interactions with colleagues and experts in the field. It aims to raise awareness and ultimately help prevent onset, progression and complications associated with vascular disease. The sessions will be led by regional and national experts on a wide spectrum of vascular topics and directed toward health care professionals caring for patients with these conditions.
A multidisciplinary panel of speakers from vascular surgery, vascular medicine, neurology and cardiology will provide insight into medical management as well as open and endovascular techniques. Amongst the topics that will be covered, we will highlight peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, aortic dissection, complex venous problems and cerebrovascular disease.
We have also included this year sessions on vascular malformations in children and other rare vascular manifestations of vascular disease. Question and answer sessions, expert debates and panel discussions will help fulfil our mission of high-level education for health care professionals.
The Scientific Committee has developed a comprehensive two-day program highlighting the current challenges and clinical development in vascular medicine. The topics of the conference present the latest updates in the diagnosis and management of common and uncommon vascular disorders.
Lectures and workshops will be delivered by renowned vascular surgeons and experts from the UAE, the Gulf, and the United States. Moreover, dedicated time slots for workshops have been allocated to allow delegates a more interactive, hands-on experience to keep abreast of the latest developments and future perspectives within the field.
The conference aims to advance excellence in vascular surgery and vascular medicine by promoting research, education, and implementation of the most recent medical updates into clinical practice, and to increase collaboration in the arena of vascular medicine in the UAE and the region. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, both national and regional, while expanding existing connections or creating new ones.
On behalf of the organizing committee of the 5th Abu Dhabi International Vascular Conference, we look forward to welcoming your participation in this unique educational experience, and hope to see you all engaged in the conference.
